Sommerakademie in Zentrum Paul Klee
From August 13 - 23, 2014 this year`s Sommerakademie will take place accompanied by a series of public events.
We would be delighted to inaugurate the Academy 2014 on August 15, 2014 together with you. Guest Curator Raimundas Malašauskas will introduce us to the theme and the 12 selected international Fellows (artists, curators, critics) will present themselves.

Guest Curator Raimundas Malašauskas
This year`s Sommerakademie will be led by the lithuanian curator and author Raimundas Malašauskas. Born in Vilnius he curates all over the world. Recently he worked as one of the agents of documenta13, Kassel 2012. At the Biennale Venedig 2013 he curated the pavilions of Lithuania and Cyprus.
The initials HR relate to the Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Hermann Rorschach who developped the so-called Rorschach-Test.Reffering to his psychiodiagnostic "Inkblot-Test", which fascinates artists and schientist still today, the Sommerakademie will explore also other senses of HR, like for example „Human Resources“.
Raimundas Malašauskas invited the following eight international Speakers. They will deliver internal workshops, public lectures and film screenings in English during the Academy.
The interest to participate in the Sommerakademie 2014 was enormous and we are pleased that the members of the Jury selected the following twelve young artists/curators out of 160 outstanding applications from 40 countries for this year’s Academy:
