'Sara Flynn' - Opens Soon:

Our next exhibition will consist of new work in porcelain and bronze by Sara Flynn. This will open on the 3rd October. 

What immediately attracted me to Sara Flynn’s pots, when I first saw them in County Cork in 2013, was the combination of the rather formal black exterior with the highly informal pinches and squeezes. They are extremely tactile and at the same time abstract and rather distant.

The above quote comes from an essay by The Duke of Devonshire, which will appear in our catalogue celebrating Irish-born sculptor and ceramicist, Sara Flynn. This exhibition of new work in porcelain and bronze will be Flynn’s fourth solo show at our gallery, and will be open from the 3rd through the 25th of October 2018.
