Casa Jaguar Studio invites you to the opening of the exhibition “Hidden Treasures” in the Centro Cívico Pere Pruna in Barcelona on September 9th, 2021. We will have guided visits from 06PM to 07:30PM and a music and poetry performance in the garden until 09PM.

Our xylography and painting are inspired by the shapes of the earth and the textures of landscapes. Our audiovisual work, produced in collaboration with indigenous communities and pre-columbian art museums in Colombia is an homage to latinamerican art history.

Casa Jaguar Studio is a multidisciplinary art studio based in Barcelona. A collective of latin american artists who seek to celebrate the history, landscapes and diversity of latin america through contemporary art, audiovisual technology and pre-columbian metal work.

The objective of the project is to promote the presence of art, nature and diversity in cities. Casa Jaguar Studio mixes plastic artworks portraying abstract landscapes with figurative audiovisual pieces inspired by pre-columbian metal work. The main techniques used at Casa Jaguar Studio are engraving, animations on painting and audiovisual installations. The audiovisual work is produced in collaboration with indigenous communities and pre-columbian art museums in Colombia.
