Living With Art - Shavuot Special
Homeland as Inspiration
The Shavuot festival is just around the corner, and it is a great opportunity to put a spotlight on Ilana Goor's creations which deal with her homeland and the environment she was surrounded by as a young child. Goor is inspired by many subjects such as local plants, the Israeli culture and Jewish and Arab symbolism. All these are manifested in bronze sculptures and designs and her unique use of combining agricultural tools into monumental sculptures and furniture, which bring her back to childhood memories back then in Tiberius in the early 1940's.
For the upcoming holiday and the beginning of summer, the Museum's Gallery offers variety of items in special prices which express the monthly theme: Homeland Memories. Happy Shavuot!
