Jennifer Lee wins the LOEWE Craft Prize 2018

We would like to congratulate gallery artist Jennifer Lee on winning this year’s LOEWE Craft Prize. This is an incredible and much deserved achievement of an exceptionally talented artist.

Jonathan Anderson, creative director of LOEWE and founder of the LOEWE Craft Prize, commented that

Jennifer Lee for me is a landmark in form’.

 

The jury of the LOEWE Craft Prize praised Jennifer Lee's work for its classicism, timelessness and the way in which it 'rooted the entire exhibition'.

The LOEWE Craft Prize exhibition is viewable until 17 June at the Design Museum in London. This exhibition includes Lee's winning piece, 'Pale, Shadowed Speckled Traces, Fading Ellipse, Bronze Specks, Tilted Shelf' (2017) as well as works by the other 29 finalists.
