COLLATERAL EVENT OF THE 56TH INTERNATIONAL ART EXHIBITION – LA BIENNALE DI VENEZIA

The Moscow Museum of Modern Art and Triumph Gallery invite you to a press-breakfast dedicated to projects by RECYCLE GROUP and AES+F – participants of the upcoming 56th International Art Exhibition – la Biennale di Venezia as collateral events, on May 6 – November 22 2015.

RECYCLE GROUP (Andrey Blokhin and Georgy Kuznetsov – the winners of Kandinsky Prize-2010 and nominees Kandinsky Prize-2013) are widely known in Russia and abroad. Within la Biennale di Venezia 2015 the artists will present their new project CONVERSION – total site-specific installation to be exhibited in SAINT ANTONIN CHURCH founded in VII.

AES+F will present their new exhibition «001 INVERSO MUNDUS» which will occupy the historic former salt warehouses (MAGAZZINI DEL SALE) at the celebrated Zattere quay. In their 7-channel video installation, inspired by Inverso Mundus
(The World Upside Down) engravings of XVI, images of middle-age carnival transform into absurdist scenes of social utopia of contemporary world.
