Lyokha Garikovich was born in Moscow in 1980. He works in various techniques: painting, graphics, sculpture, installation, photography, video art and performance. The artist is the winner of the international competition "Eidos 06/07"(Kiev, Ukraine); the finalist of the "Kandinsky Prize 2007" in nomination "Young artist of the year" (Moscow, Russia); the finalist of the IV all-Russian competition of Young Artists named after P.M. Tretyakov 2007, The State Tretyakov gallery (Moscow, Russia); the nominee for the Kandinsky Prize 2009 and 2012 (Moscow, Russia); the participant of the main project of the V Moscow Biennale 2013 (Moscow, Russia); the participant of АRTBAT FEST 2013 (Kazakhstan); the participant of the paralell project of the Manifesta 10 (Saint Petersburg, Russia).
