Performance—Moroccan Court Concert
Powerful sounds fill the Moroccan Court as two master performers of Indian classical music,Jay Gandhi (bansuri flute) and Ehren Hanson (tabla), play ragas and melodies from the courts and villages of northern India. The Moroccan Court Music Series is made possible by the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art and the Patti Cadby Birch Education Fund.

Drop-in Drawing
Sketch live models wearing dresses inspired by the exhibition Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology. Artist Steven Fragale from The Met MediaLab uses the Tilt Brush program to explore The Met in virtual space, while Deborah Lutz teaches sketching in analog. Stickers distributed at program location; demonstrations repeat every 30 minutes.

Create your own extreme hair accessory inspired by the plumage in the exhibition Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.

Artist Demonstration—Nail Art
Observe artist Lady Fancy Nails create original designs inspired by the exhibition Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology on one of the smallest canvases—the human fingernail. Limited spaces available for free first-come, first-served nail art sessions in collaboration with Cirque Colors. Note: This activity contains odors that may be sensitive for some visitors.

What's your sign? Take the cosmos home in your pocket by creating your own palm-sized astrological talisman inspired by the exhibition Court and Cosmos: The Great Age of the Seljuqs with The Met College Group.
